ESG & Information Security Committee
For the implement of sustainability, Wistron established "ESG Committee" in December 2019 to propose and enforce the corporate social responsibility policies, systems (or relevant management guidelines), and concrete promotional plans.
To enhance the sustainable competitiveness of the company and strengthen information security management, the company renamed the ''ESG Committee'' to the ''Sustainable Development and Information Security Committee'' on April 2, 2025
The Committee is composed of management team of Wistron and the Vice Chairman, and Chairman & President of Wistron Digital Technology Holding Company, Robert Hwang, as the chairman of the Committee. We also appointed the independent director, Sam Lee, as the conductor of Committee and will report to the Board of Directors on a periodic basis.
in order to assist the Board of Directors in continuing to promote the sustainable development of the enterprise and improve corporate governance in order to achieve the purpose of sustainable management, the authority of ESG & Information Security Committee should include the following:
- To formulate sustainable development direction, strategies and goals, and formulate relevant management policies and specific promotion plans.
- To track, review, and revise the implementation and effectiveness of the Company's sustainable development.
- Supervise sustainability information disclosure matters and review Sustainability Reports.
- Oversee the management of existing or potential sustainability issues within the Company (including climate, nature, and biodiversity).
- Formulate the Company's cybersecurity development direction, strategies, and goals, and supervise the implementation of the company's information security management system, technical standards, and operational procedures.
- Supervise the implementation of Sustainable Development Best Practice Principles and other matters to be performed by the Committee pursuant to the resolution of the Board of Directors.
