The core of the factory's operation lies in green production. Raw materials such as epoxy resin, rubber, and iron are professionally managed. At the same time, the "Hazardous Substances Identification, Targeting, and Reduction Guidelines" have been formulated to ensure that every drop of chemicals used is safe and controllable. The optimization of process flows has minimized the use of chemical substances, which not only protects the health of colleagues but also safeguards the surrounding environment.
In accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Impact Report Form, Wistron has implemented advanced pollutant treatment equipment to ensure all emissions meet the standards. Environmental monitoring reports show that all pollutant emissions comply with standards, demonstrating Wistron's high emphasis on and active actions towards environmental protection.
In terms of resource conservation, the application of a circulating cooling water system and water-saving devices in the factory has achieved an annual water-saving rate of 10%. The factory has also established the ISO 50001 Energy Management System. By combining performance evaluation, lean production proposals, and reward mechanisms, it continuously promotes energy-saving reforms and optimizes energy use structures, eliminating high-energy-consuming and inefficient equipment.
Regarding renewable energy utilization, the three-phase photovoltaic power generation project completed on the factory buildings, with a total of 3160.36 KWp photovoltaic power generation system, can generate 2.1146 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, equivalent to 13.2% of the factory's total electricity consumption. This not only reduces reliance on traditional energy sources but also makes a substantial contribution to environmental protection.
