In August 2023, Wistron Information Technology Zhongshan South China (hereinafter referred to as "Wistron Zhongshan") was invited to participate in the key work promotion meeting and signing ceremony of Zhongshan City's "High-Quality Development Project for Hundreds of Counties, Thousands of Towns, and Tens of Thousands of Villages."
The event was attended by George Syu, the Manager of the Corporate Culture Management Department of Wistron Zhongshan, representing the company. The government aims to leverage the strength of various social sectors to activate community and rural vitality, improve people's livelihoods, and drive revitalization and development through a government-village-enterprise support mechanism.

This year, Wistron Zhongshan's partnership support target is Zhangwuxiao Community in Zhangjiabian, adjacent to the technology park. Wistron Zhongshan has gathered the strength of the government, community, and company to form a project promotion team that stays close to the community, listens to the needs of the residents, and planned a series of activities including elderly care, parent-child education and fun activities, home appliance maintenance and cleaning, as well as the promotion of correct electricity usage knowledge.
On June 16, 2024, Wistron Zhongshan held the first annual "Warmth & Beauty" care event for the elderly in Zhangwuxiao Community. The event invited 23 participants, including volunteers from Wistron Zhongshan's Volunteer Society and New Media Society, as well as staff from Zhongshan Torch Industrial Group. Under the leadership of Secretary Liang of Zhangwuxiao Community, the volunteers visited 10 households of elderly in need, engaging warmly with the seniors, delivering essential living supplies (rice and cooking oil) to each household, and taking photos to commemorate the occasion.
On the day of the event, volunteers entered each household, listened to the seniors' stories about their daily lives, and captured moments of the seniors’ happy smiles in photographs, which deeply touched the volunteers and underscored the profound significance of the event. Secretary Liang of Zhangwuxiao Community expressed heartfelt gratitude for Wistron Zhongshan's generosity. He hoped that through the promotion and advancement of this community partner program, more charitable enterprises and volunteers would be inspired to engage in public welfare, bringing more care and support to the community.
