At the core of it lies the innovative Amazonia Project — a unique green oasis located at the heart of our production hall. Designed to bring nature into the workplace, Amazonia features abundant greenery and a tranquil atmosphere that offers a calming and refreshing environment amidst the hustle and bustle of the workplace. A balcony within the space provides a panoramic view of the production area, giving employees a place to pause and recharge. Amazonia is more than just a relaxing retreat; it regularly hosts creative and educational workshops, including seasonal events for Valentine’s Day, Easter, and Christmas. Constructed entirely from wood and surrounded by lush foliage, the space enhances the overall ambiance of our workplace with its calming, natural aesthetic. In recognition of its innovative design and impact, Amazonia was honored with the prestigious German Design Award in 2024 — an achievement that underscores our commitment to excellence in workplace design. Another milestone in 2024 was the launch of The Terrace Project, which involved a complete renovation of existing spaces and the construction of modern, architect-designed meeting rooms.

Created with the needs of today’s workforce in mind, The Terrace prioritizes flexibility, collaboration, and connectivity. This initiative significantly expanded our meeting room capacity, which was previously limited and in high demand. The new space includes 2 call boxes and 4 meeting rooms, one of which also functions as a shared office — providing a supportive environment especially for part-time parents. To further enhance the employee experience, a coffee corner with a kitchenette was added, offering a comfortable spot for colleagues to relax and enjoy a nice coffee.

These thoughtfully designed spaces are not only ideal for meetings and language courses, but also serve as cozy accommodations for international visitors who stay with us for extended periods — ensuring that they have a pleasant and productive environment throughout their time at Wistron Czech.
