Since April 2023, Wistron has successfully eliminated its reliance on landfills, with 88% of all waste now being either recycled or reused. This accomplishment not only marks a major step forward for the company but also aligns with Veolia’s ambition to achieve zero waste to landfill by 2030. Wistron’s initiatives were also showcased at the 2024 Veolia Green Up Conference in Prague, where the company was recognized as a leading example of sustainable practices. During the event, Veolia announced a CZK 20 billion investment in the Czech Republic’s ecological transformation, focusing on reducing carbon emissions, improving water conservation, and enhancing hazardous waste management. Through its collaboration with Recovera, a Veolia company, Wistron continues to push forward its environmental goals.
