Wistron Ranked No.1 in “CommonWealth Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award” for 3 Consecutive Years

Wistron has once again been recognized for its sustainability achievements, securing first place in the Large Manufacturing Enterprise category of the “2026 CommonWealth Magazine Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award” for 3 consecutive years. Wistron has long embedded sustainable development into its corporate strategy and daily operations, with its ESG 6-Pillar serving as a key driver of its sustainability efforts and continuous advancement across ESG initiatives. This year's evaluation focused on the theme of "AI Empowering ESG," highlighting how companies leverage artificial intelligence to advance sustainable development while establishing robust AI governance frameworks that balance innovation, ethics, and sustainability.

Wistron has actively promoted its AI First strategy, cultivating more than 1,200 digital and AI talents and developing over 475 AI use cases across the organization. AI has been integrated into R&D, manufacturing, production, and management processes, becoming an integral part of daily operations and decision-making. Through AI-enabled business transformation, Wistron has generated cumulative benefits exceeding NT$5.6 billion, continuously enhancing operational efficiency and overall competitiveness.

In the area of “Green AI”, Wistron has developed Decarbonization Management Platform, integrating energy consumption and carbon emissions data from global operations to provide real-time visibility into decarbonization progress and risks, while also supporting the implementation of the internal carbon pricing mechanism. This data-driven approach has transformed carbon reduction management from goal setting to actionable insights. By leveraging AI to analyze equipment performance and energy consumption patterns, Wistron improved resource efficiency and achieved electricity savings of more than 12.5 million kWh in 2025.

Beyond reducing emissions within its own operations, Wistron has established the WiZero platform, utilizing digital tools to help suppliers identify carbon hotspots and decarbonization opportunities. Together with more than 30 suppliers, Wistron has promoted low-carbon transformation initiatives that have cumulatively reduced emissions by 57,820 metric tons of CO₂e.

In addition to deepening AI adoption within the Company, Wistron has further extended its innovation capabilities to the broader industry ecosystem. Since 2025, the Company has launched the Computing Power Donation Program, providing over 2.4 million hours of GPU computing resources to support startups and research institutions in AI model development and validation. Through collaboration with industry partners and mentor networks, Wistron has established a comprehensive “Computing Power + Mentorship” support framework to accelerate the implementation of innovative AI applications.

Receiving the CommonWealth Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award for the third consecutive year is recognition of Wistron’s achievements across the four evaluation dimensions of Corporate Commitment, Corporate Governance, Social Engagement, and Environmental Sustainability. It also affirms the Company’s long-standing commitment to integrating sustainability into its business strategy. Moving forward, Wistron will continue to deepen the integration of digital innovation and sustainable development, turning this recognition into momentum for future progress while addressing evolving sustainability challenges and advancing its vision of “Sustainability through Innovation”.
