Since the launch of the “Heart Wing 3.0” initiative, Wistron Zhongshan has prioritized employees’ mental well-being and workplace happiness. By integrating three core dimensions—hardware enhancements, professional support, and interactive experiences—the company has built a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to care for its workforce.

  1. Hardware Enhancements: Creating an Immersive "Happiness Lab"
    • In July 2024, Wistron upgraded its infrastructure to establish a professional psychological wellness facility. This space includes relaxation areas, book corners, and other leisure zones, enhanced with soft lighting and aromatic systems to create a calming atmosphere. These thoughtfully designed environments offer employees a healing space to recharge quickly, fostering a deeper sense of care.
  2. Professional Support: Building a Tiered Psychological Safety Net
    • Custom-designed courses, such as "Career Guidance Motivation" and "High-Stress Situation Management,” target the unique needs of employees. Simultaneously, senior counselors are being developed to empower managers to identify and address the psychological needs of their teams effectively.
  3. Interactive Experiences: Therapeutic Handcrafting and Fostering Team Connectivity
    • DIY workshops, including handmade soap and scented candle crafting, are organized with expert instructors providing on-site guidance. These activities not only help employees unwind through creativity but also encourage cross-departmental interactions that strengthen team cohesion and a sense of belonging.
