Energy Management

Energy management

Wistron introduced the ISO 50001 Energy Management System to ensure systematic management of energy. With our effective management system and real-time energy dashboard, Wistron works to identify and analyze energy-intensive hotspots, using results to develop energy projects. We regularly convene energy project meetings and follows up on related progress and results. We seek to continue to improve energy efficiency through the exchange of information between all maunfacturing site.
The energy review process, conducted through the ISO 50001 Energy Management System, involves an annual review of the types and amounts of energy used within the boundary. Significant energy uses are identified using smart meters and energy management dashboards, and energy baselines are set or adjusted for these considerable energy uses. Targets are also set or adjusted, and improvement plans are proposed. The energy team tracks the execution and benefits of these improvement plans. When there are significant changes in facility equipment systems or processes, the energy baselines and targets should be updated accordingly.
