Wistron participates in domestic and international sustainable organizations, expecting to follow the trend of sustainability and expand our positive influence.



Responsible Business Alliance (RBA)

The RBA is the world’s largest industry coalition dedicated to corporate social responsibility in global supply chains.

As a member of the RBA, Wistron fully supports the vision and goals of the RBA, as well as the implementation of their Code of Conduct. Each year, our major global facilities complete the RBA Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ), which helps identify the risks of labor, health, and safety risks, environment, business ethics, and management systems in our operations. Meanwhile, we participate in the Validated Assessment Program (VAP) accordingly. These assessments provide valuable insights and assurance of our commitment to responsible business practices.
BCSD-Taiwan (Taiwan Business Council for Sustainable Development)
 

BCSD-Taiwan, founded in May 1997 and formerly known as the Taiwan Business Council for Sustainable Development, is the sole global alliance partner of WBCSD in Taiwan. It helps Taiwanese businesses craft sustainable strategies and adopt international standards to align with global sustainability practices.

In December 2022, Wistron proposed to participate in the "Taiwan Nature Positive Initiative" launched by BCSD-Taiwan (Business Council for Sustainable Development). It is exp ected to introduce the international organizations' tools and resources provided by WBCSD
(World Business Council for Sustainable Development) to examine the status quo of the Company’s ability to respond to issues regarding nature.
CommonWealth Sustainability League (CWS)
 

Wistron joined the CWS since 2021 as Founding member. CWS provides a platform for local entrepreneurs in Taiwan to communicate, share and learn together in response to ESG.
National Taiwan University TPIDC Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development Industry-Academia Alliance

The "National Taiwan University TPIDC Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development Industry-Academia Alliance" was established in 2023 with the support of the National Science Council under the Executive Yuan. It aims to assist Taiwanese enterprises in digital transformation, sustainable development (ESG), and strategic innovation. The alliance hopes to establish a credible learning and communication platform through its partners' and members' cooperation and participation. This will enhance the digital transformation and sustainable development capabilities of Taiwan's industries and companies, thus improving their competitiveness. Wistron became a member of the alliance in 2023.
