Wistron, dedicated to the well-being and satisfaction of its employees and aiming to reduce absenteeism, has integrated government programs into its employment practices starting in February 2023. This initiative allows employees to fulfill their civic duties and obligations without having to leave the company or use their days off or vacation time.
Wistron provides a designated space on its premises where the State Government can set up operations to offer various services. Wistron supplies the necessary internet access, furniture, lighting, food, and logistical support, as well as managing the registration of employees. This facilitates the coordination and efficient delivery of services to as many employees as possible. For those employees who are unable to access these services on campus, the Government also offers preferential treatment by accommodating them at government offices without requiring a prior appointment.

During these fairs, more than 600 employees across the first and second shifts received assistance with various processes, including:
- Renewal and first-time applications for driver's licenses.
- Payment of taxes, license plate exchanges, vehicle registrations, and changes of vehicle ownership.
- Civil Registry services, such as birth, marriage, and death certificates, foreign certificate validations, CURP corrections, and collective marriages. Up to 60 couples have participated in official marriage ceremonies, complete with a judge, witnesses, and celebrations including cake, toasts, and raffles for household gifts.
- Services from the Water Supply and Sewage Board (JMAS), where discounts and debt forgiveness for fines and high-water consumption can be obtained.
- Assistance from the Prosecutor's Office, including the processing of non-criminal record certificates.
These government campaigns are aligned with corporate social responsibility and the improvement of labor conditions, directly enhancing the quality of life for workers and bolstering the company’s reputation. This, in turn, can lead to increased employee engagement and productivity. Wistron plans to continue offering various government services on campus every quarter, benefiting over 10% of its workforce with discounts and advice across various administrative areas.
