Wistron Chongqing Site: Elevating Academic Qualifications, Launching Dreams

SDGs

Wistron Chongqing Site has consistently adhered to the concept of sustainable development, focusing not only on corporate growth but also on the comprehensive development of its employees. To help more outstanding colleagues enhance their professional qualities and overcome career bottlenecks, the Chongqing site has introduced an incentive system for academic qualification improvement, assisting Wistron employees in achieving their university dreams and embarking on their journeys from here.

In terms of the incentive system, the Chongqing site offers generous incentive funds for colleagues participating in academic qualification improvement. Colleagues pursuing higher vocational education or upgrading from vocational to bachelor's degrees can receive scholarship incentives. Moreover, Wistron has established collaborations with training institutions, allowing enrolled colleagues to enjoy tuition discounts upon admission, thereby reducing the financial burden of education.

The HR team actively seeks more information related to academic qualification improvement, including reliable training institutions and details about various universities' programs and registration fees. They disseminate this information through multiple channels (such as internal announcements, emails, WeChat public accounts, WeChat consultation groups, and consultation booths in the cafeteria corridor) to ensure that every colleague receives complete information and can choose the most suitable learning method (self-study, adult education, or the national university) based on their needs.

As a result of these systems and promotional measures, as of 2023, more than 800 colleagues at the Chongqing site have signed up for the academic qualification improvement program, with 60 new enrollees in 2023 alone. The site will continue to promote academic qualification improvement activities, enhance incentive systems at all levels, introduce more cooperative training institutions, and provide ongoing support and care throughout the entire learning process (from enrollment to graduation).

We understand that the improvement of employees' professional qualities is the cornerstone of corporate development. Through these efforts, the Chongqing site has not only achieved individual growth for employees but also driven the progress of the company, laying a solid foundation for the shared vision of mutual growth. In the future, we will continue to support every colleague's learning and advancement, enabling more people to realize their dreams here and collectively move towards a brighter future.
