In 2023, Wistron Chongqing (WCQ) achieved excellent environmental performance, passing the municipal enterprise environmental credit evaluation of Chongqing with an outstanding score of 101 and was awarded the title of "Environmental Integrity Enterprise." This honor not only affirms our efforts in environmental protection but also strongly proves our commitment to the concept of green development.
Enterprise environmental credit evaluation is an important environmental management method, aiming to evaluate enterprises' actual performance in complying with environmental laws and regulations and fulfilling environmental social responsibilities based on environmental behavior information according to prescribed indicators, methods, and procedures. The evaluation indicators cover 30 elements, including environmental monitoring, solid waste management, discharge permits, pollution prevention, environmental emergency, information disclosure, etc., and ultimately determine their credit rating, which is made public for social supervision and use by relevant departments and financial institutions.

The implementation of this evaluation mechanism helps enhance enterprises' awareness of fulfilling environmental responsibilities and obligations, promote effective management of enterprises by environmental protection departments, and encourage enterprises to consciously accept social supervision. Under this mechanism, Wistron Chongqing actively complies with ecological and environmental laws and regulations, proactively fulfills pollution prevention obligations in production and operation, properly handles and resolves environmental issues, and implements the primary responsibility of enterprise ecological and environmental protection.
Chongqing's environmental credit evaluation work is reviewed once a year. In the 2022 evaluation, Wistron Chongqing, centering on the concept of green development, actively practiced ecological civilization and deeply integrated ecological and environmental protection measures into daily work, ultimately earning the title of "Environmental Integrity Enterprise" awarded by the Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment.
