In 2024, Wistron Automotive Electronics (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. successfully launched an ESG-themed environmental campaign titled “Green Mobility: Low-Carbon Planet.” The initiative aimed to raise environmental awareness among employees and promote the adoption of low-carbon lifestyles. Held in June 2024, the campaign engaged all employees across the Kunshan facility, offering a meaningful and enriching experience.
Participants joined the challenge through an interactive online platform, earning carbon points by completing quizzes, walking, or using public transportation. This innovative format not only boosted engagement but also subtly reinforced eco-conscious habits. Through these green actions, employees gained a deeper understanding of energy conservation and emission reduction, actively contributing to environmental protection.
Beyond promoting low-carbon living, the campaign highlighted the urgent need to address global environmental challenges such as ozone depletion, desertification, glacier retreat, droughts, smog, and extreme weather events. By emphasizing the importance of reducing carbon emissions, the initiative underscored the role of sustainable practices in securing a livable future for humanity.
The campaign concluded successfully, with the top 50 participants receiving special gifts in recognition of their commitment. This gesture not only celebrated individual efforts but also reinforced the company’s dedication to environmental stewardship. Through this initiative, Wistron Automotive Kunshan strengthened its sustainability strategy while offering a valuable model for other enterprises—demonstrating innovation, responsibility, and local action in ESG implementation.
