Commitment to People: Employer of the Year 2025
SDGs
In 2025, WCZ once again achieved 1st place in the Pluxee Employer of the Year competition in the South Moravian Region, in the category of organisations with up to 500 employees. This result represents a repeated recognition and confirms the continuity of the company’s approach to human resources management over time, rather than a one off achievement linked to short term initiatives.
The Pluxee Employer of the Year competition is a long standing and well established employer evaluation in the Czech Republic. Its primary objective is to enable an objective comparison of HR practices across organisations and to support the sharing of good practices in the area of people management. The competition is open to companies across different industries and sizes, which allows results to be benchmarked within defined categories and regions.
The evaluation focuses on several key areas of human resources management, including working conditions, employee development, workforce stability, reward and benefits systems, employee well being, and support for work life balance. A strong emphasis is placed on the consistency of HR processes and their long term sustainability, rather than on isolated projects or individual programmes.
All assessments are based on the internationally recognised Saratoga methodology, which relies on quantitative HR data and defined indicators. These include metrics such as employee turnover, investment in training and development, employee engagement and satisfaction, career progression opportunities, and the structure of compensation and benefits. The use of a standardised methodology ensures a data driven approach and enables long term trend analysis, both at company and market level.
The repeated 1st place ranking in 2025 indicates that WCZ continues to meet the evaluation criteria consistently and maintains stable HR performance within its category. From an internal perspective, the award serves as an external reference point validating the effectiveness and maturity of local HR processes, as well as their alignment with broader organisational standards. At the same time, it provides a comparable benchmark against other employers operating within the same regional and organisational framework.
